This poster is an advertisement for the Roger’s Tennis Cup in 2010, taking place in Rexall Centre at York University, Toronto. The concept of the poster design focuses on the crowd experiencing a tennis game in real time, and it is directed towards making the audience want to buy tickets and come to the game. In order to achieve that, the design includes realistic imagery for people attending a tennis game and showing their emotions towards what’s happening in the game.

It’s a little piece of joint work, composed by me, and the percussion edited by Amr Daouk. The title “La union de las sombras” was inspired by Aya Yassin and Khadra Hassan; nevertheless, the whole thing was inspired by the group and I guess it wouldn’t be as complete if it wasn’t for them, otherwise it was to be one of those undone projects that are unlikely to ever be touched again. It’s simple, and some parts were repetitive by choice, to exhibit a certain feeling I had at the moment. The work is dedicated to all my beloved friends.
